Window Lid Box FAQ

Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.

How do we choose a rigid lid window without weakening its frame?

Define the product area that must be visible and sample the remaining frame with the proposed board and window attachment. Check lid flatness and handling around the opening. A larger view should be evaluated against the support needed at corners and narrow edges.

Technical references
How much space should remain beneath the lid window?

Include the product's tallest feature, insert height and possible movement in the clearance check. Close a filled sample and inspect for window contact or bowing. The transparent panel should not be assumed to hold the product down or replace a fitted support.

Technical references
Will the window keep the product centered in view?

The insert needs to control the product's position relative to the viewing opening. Trial the complete arrangement after handling and check the view from normal retail angles. A centered window in the lid cannot compensate for an item that rotates or slides beneath it.

Technical references
Can the window and rigid box share one recycling claim?

Review the complete construction, including window film, adhesive, wrap and board, against local collection requirements. Identify any necessary separation and confirm it is practical for the buyer. Approve wording from evidence for the supplied pack rather than treating the visible paper frame as sufficient.
