Book Style Box FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How should the book-style spine be sized?
Use the depth of the complete tray and product arrangement, including any lining and lid clearance, to define the spine geometry. Open and close a structural sample before artwork approval. A spine dimension chosen only for visual proportion can restrict the hinge motion.

Can the inside cover carry a long brand story?
Plan the message around what the open lid exposes and how the box rests during reading. Mock up the layout with the actual product in place. Keep essential text clear of the hinge and check legibility at final size before adding decorative effects.
Technical references
How do we check that the cover opens far enough?
Define the intended presentation angle and whether the customer needs the lid to lie back during product removal. Trial the finished hinge with the tray and insert fitted. Avoid forcing the sample beyond its designed travel when assessing the opening experience.
Technical references
Will the book-style box keep the product in place when opened sideways?
Specify whether customers will open it flat on a table or upright like a book. Trial the insert in that orientation with the actual product. The attached cover does not restrain loose contents, so review retention separately from the storytelling layout.
