Perfect Edge FAQ

Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.

What should 'perfect edge' mean in the approved sample?

Define the edge appearance you expect, including covered board, corner folds and visible wrap joins. Review a physical reference under ordinary viewing conditions and agree which areas are inspected. The product name should not be interpreted as a promise of literally invisible construction tolerances.

Technical references
How can dark wrapping paper highlight corner defects?

A dark surface can make pale board exposure or abrasion easier to see. Inspect the actual wrap around corners and lid edges after opening and handling. Agree an acceptable cosmetic reference before choosing a finish solely from a flat color swatch.

Technical references
Does this model have a standard opening mechanism?

Confirm the selected structure separately from its edge finish, including whether it uses a lift-off lid, hinge or sliding part. Approve the drawing and functional sample first. An edge treatment does not define the closure, fit or insert layout required for your product.

Technical references
What should be checked before applying foil near an edge?

Review the proposed decoration against the wrap folds and finished corner geometry. Inspect a decorated sample for placement and distortion, especially where the design approaches a seam. Keep critical fine detail on a stable face unless the edge treatment has been sampled successfully.
