Drawer Box with Ribbon Pull FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How should the ribbon pull attach to the drawer?
Define the pull location and attachment detail on the sample, then trial it with the filled tray. Check whether the ribbon pulls squarely or twists the drawer. The visible ribbon width alone does not show how its load reaches the tray.
How long should the exposed ribbon loop be?
Make it easy to grip without leaving an unnecessary loop that catches in the outer shipper or retail display. Trial the ribbon with the closed sleeve and actual packing arrangement. Approve the visible length on a finished sample rather than from a loose ribbon swatch.
Will a ribbon pull work with a heavy gift set?
Provide the filled tray weight and expected pulling motion, then evaluate the attachment and sliding resistance together. A difficult sliding fit can increase force on the ribbon. Trial the loaded drawer before choosing a more substantial ribbon as the only correction.
Can the ribbon mark a pale wrap or product surface?
Request the selected ribbon and wrapping materials together in the sample. Check the contact areas after the pack has been closed and handled, including any ribbon lying against the product. Approve that combination for appearance rather than relying on separate material samples.
