Self Erecting Box FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
What does self-erecting mean for this box?
Confirm the approved erection sequence with a sample or demonstration: the term can cover different linked or preglued constructions. Have your packing team try opening and squaring it. Identify any additional tab engagement or base check required before the product is loaded.
Technical references
How do we check that the base has opened fully?
Define a visible or tactile confirmation point on the structural sample and include it in the packing instruction. Trial repeated erection with different operators. A box that appears upright may still have a partially folded bottom if it was not squared completely.
Technical references
Can we increase product weight without changing the self-erecting box?
Review the actual base support and load contact points before reusing the specification. Test the heavier filled arrangement through handling and distribution. Faster erection is an assembly feature; it does not establish the bottom's suitability for a new product.

Will a self-erecting box save packing time?
Evaluate it at your bench with the real product, inserts and closure steps. Count any time spent correcting squareness or engaging locks as well as opening the box. Compare the complete packing cycle with your existing structure before assuming an operational improvement.
