Literature Mailer FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How should a literature mailer fit a book or document set?
Measure the complete stack, including covers, sleeves and any promotional inserts. Check a sample for corner clearance and movement when partly filled. The height should support the intended contents without letting thin sheets slide into closure gaps or become curled.

How do we protect exposed book corners?
Show which corners and binding edges must arrive free of dents, then compare fit and corner support on packed samples. An attractive close-fitting mailer still needs evaluation with the actual book; extra room without restraint can allow repeated edge impacts.
Technical references
Can one literature mailer handle different document thicknesses?
Confirm whether the drawing provides adjustable depth or only one fixed height. Trial the thinnest and thickest approved stacks, checking both closure and restraint. Do not rely on folding the walls differently unless those positions are part of the approved structure.

Where should we place a customer opening strip or label?
Keep the intended opening path clear of the document edges and any shipping label. Open a sealed, fully packed sample to check how much force and clearance are needed. Include that final closure when evaluating protection for the bound or loose contents.
