Carry Handle Pouch FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
Where should a carry handle transfer the filled load?
Provide the filled weight, pouch dimensions and intended carrying motion. Review whether a die-cut header or attached handle suits the construction, then test filled samples. Check the handle attachment, adjacent seals and panel distortion together instead of evaluating grip comfort alone.

Can the handle compromise product containment?
Keep the handle cutout or attachment outside the product cavity unless the design explicitly accounts for it. Ask for a drawing showing seals and load paths. Inspect after carrying and packed handling so pulling at the handle does not expose a weak transition into the sealed area.
Technical references
How do we make the grip comfortable for a heavy pack?
Evaluate opening size, edge shape and material feel with representative users carrying the actual fill. Include repeated lifts and the intended carrying distance in your assessment. Comfort and durability need separate acceptance points because a strong handle can still be unpleasant to use.

What should change when the fill weight increases?
Review handle geometry, film construction, seal design and shipping configuration before approving the heavier pack. Repeat relevant load and transit checks against the updated filled sample. Increasing the printed weight declaration alone does not establish that the original handle arrangement remains suitable.
