Sachet (4 Side Seal) FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How does a four-side-seal sachet affect usable panel area?
Allow for seal borders on all sides and mark them on the artwork drawing. Review a filled sample for readable text and panel bulging. Tiny fonts or codes near the crimp may become difficult to read even when the flat artwork seems spacious.
Technical references
What information does a sachet forming line require?
Send the machine model, web layout, forming arrangement, repeat, unwind direction and roll limits. Confirm how paired films or folded webs meet at the seals. Trial registration and cutting positions with the selected film rather than treating a premade sachet size as the complete line specification.
Technical references
How can we avoid a leaking corner at intersecting seals?
Run filled trials under the intended closing conditions and inspect corners as well as straight seal sections. Include product splash or powder contamination representative of the process. Agree leak-detection and seal acceptance methods with the packing team before setting the operating window.
Technical references
Can a four-side-seal sachet be resealable?
The perimeter-sealed sachet normally describes the initial enclosure, not a proven repeat closure. If repeat use is needed, specify a separate reclosure concept and evaluate it with the contents. Check dispensing and storage after opening instead of assuming a folded sachet restores its original barrier.
