How do we verify the material is genuine Tyvek?
Ask for the named DuPont Tyvek grade and supply documentation in the material specification. Tyvek is a nonwoven HDPE substrate, not simply a white plastic film. Approve the final mailer construction separately, including its seams, print and closure.

Can we print addresses with a laser printer?
DuPont advises against running Tyvek envelopes through laser printers because the heat can soften or melt the material. Specify your addressing method before ordering. If using separate labels, test their adhesion on the selected mailer grade and final surface finish.
Does Tyvek provide cushioning or rigid document support?
Its material characteristics do not replace the need to evaluate impact protection and bending. Send your actual contents and required arrival condition. Include any backing or cushioning in the sample, then assess the filled mailer through the planned handling environment.

How should disposal instructions be selected?
DuPont describes a dedicated envelope recycling program, which is different from assuming curbside acceptance everywhere. Confirm current access in the destination market and account for labels or padding. Print only an instruction supported for the exact finished mailer and customer location.
