Document Poly Mailer FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How can we avoid folded or creased documents?
Specify whether the documents must arrive flat and supply the full stack thickness and stiffness. A flexible poly envelope may need a backing board or rigid alternative. Trial the actual stack and inspect edges and bends after handling rather than assuming the outer film provides support.

What size should we request for a document bundle?
Send sheet dimensions, page count, binding details and any inserts. Check usable interior width and flap overlap with the thickest bundle. Allow room to load without curling corners, while avoiding a bag so loose that the documents shift repeatedly in transit.

Can the document mailer protect against rain?
Define the expected exposure and assess the filled envelope, including its flap and seams. The film body alone does not establish a waterproof parcel. Place critical papers in their intended inner protection during the trial and inspect for ingress near folded or wrinkled closure areas.

How do we specify confidentiality and routing?
State required opacity and whether tamper evidence is needed. Reserve a smooth label area large enough for your routing information and scan the finished envelope. Review a loaded sample because dark print, internal pages and folds can affect visibility and barcode performance.
