Return Ready Poly Mailer FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How does the second adhesive strip support a return?
The outbound opening must leave enough intact bag for the return strip to close. Trial the complete opening and resealing sequence with the actual contents. Check that instructions are visible and the tear path does not remove or damage the unused return adhesive.
Technical references
Should the return bag be larger than the outbound fit suggests?
Allow for less careful refolding by the customer and any return documents. Test a realistic repacked order, not only the warehouse-perfect fold. Check flap overlap and seam stress so the second journey works without forcing the contents into a damaged or overfilled bag.
Technical references
What happens to the original shipping label during return?
Plan a clear position for the new label or a way to cover obsolete routing information. Scan the repacked sample to confirm only the intended tracking code is read. Ensure the return label adheres on the final printed surface and avoids the opening strip.
How should return-readiness be validated?
Use a sample for the outbound handling, customer opening and repacking sequence, then evaluate the second closure and journey. Keep the item and bag configuration fixed in the trial. A fresh empty bag test does not establish the condition customers will actually return.
