Candle Jar FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
What evidence should I request before selecting this candle jar?
Request documentation for the selected glass intended for filled-candle use, including the applicable annealing and thermal-shock evaluation. Confirm the exact mold and any secondary processing. The product name is a starting point for sourcing and does not establish a tested candle system.
Technical references
Why must the wax and wick be tested in the selected jar?
Have a qualified candle-testing team assess the finished combination of glass, wax, wick, fragrance, fill, and decoration. Changes to those components should be reviewed against the test program. Container glass evidence addresses the vessel; it does not approve every candle formulation and burn configuration.
Technical references
Can I add frosting or an opaque coating to the candle jar?
Discuss the finish with both the glass processor and candle-testing team before approval. Keep the selected process and artwork in the finished-candle evaluation, and inspect decorated samples after handling. An appearance sample alone does not establish the behavior of the decorated vessel in use.
What should the buyer validate for candle packing and transport?
Trial the finished candle, lid, and retail carton in the actual distribution pack. Check vessel separation, base support, and lid movement, then inspect the glass and decoration after handling. The filled candle's weight and final surface should be represented in the packing evaluation.
