Beverage Bottle FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
Can this beverage bottle be hot-filled?
Only after the selected resin, bottle construction, closure, and filling profile have been reviewed for that process. Ask for the actual fill-temperature and process specification, then validate production-style packs. The beverage label or a clear PET appearance does not establish hot-fill capability.

Is the bottle suitable for carbonated drinks?
Provide the product, intended carbonation, pressure, temperature, and distribution conditions to the bottle and closure technical teams. Require an application-specific design review and appropriate testing. A generic beverage bottle must not be assumed to have the construction needed for pressurized contents.
What documentation is needed if the beverage bottle uses recycled plastic?
Request the resin identity, recycling-process information, proposed recycled content, and applicable intended-use documentation. Confirm the food type and contact conditions with the responsible compliance team. Evidence for one recycling stream or use condition should not be generalized to every PCR beverage package.

How should I compare beverage caps before choosing the bottle finish?
Define opening, resealing, tamper-evidence, and filling-line needs, then review the matched bottle and cap drawings. Trial the actual drink through filling, storage, and opening. Confirm seal performance and any first-opening feature on the complete package before approving a cap's appearance or marketing claim.
