Dropper Bottle FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
How do I choose a dropper for a plastic bottle?
Match the full bottle finish, collar seal, pipette dimensions, and bulb material, then trial the actual formula. Evaluate withdrawal, dispensing, and closure performance at different fill levels. A plastic dropper-bottle style does not establish one universal assembly or fixed delivered dose.
Does a plastic reservoir need testing when the pipette is glass?
Yes. The formula remains in contact with the bottle body as well as the pipette, bulb-facing system, and seal. Review each selected material and age filled samples. A glass pipette does not resolve compatibility questions for the plastic reservoir or the rest of the closure.
How do I choose the pipette length for this bottle?
Use the selected bottle's internal height and base profile to review pipette reach and clearance. Trial withdrawal near empty without forcing the tip against the base. Confirm the assembled length with the actual collar and seal rather than measuring only the empty external bottle.

What should I test before printing dosage instructions on the label?
Define the intended withdrawal and dispensing method, then measure output using the actual formula and complete dropper assembly. Include user variation and relevant temperatures in the study. A bulb squeeze, pipette graduation, or familiar dropper appearance does not independently establish a validated dose.
