Roll On Bottle FAQ
Practical answers on choosing the structure, avoiding common problems, and confirming the right specification for your product.
What should I evaluate when choosing a plastic roll-on bottle?
Specify formula, application area, desired glide, and selected body resin, then trial the roller, housing, cap, and bottle together. Review flow and ball retention on filled samples. A direct-contact applicator concept needs its own formula and package assessment before use claims are made.
How is plastic-body compatibility different from checking only the roller?
Review the bottle resin as well as the ball, housing, and cap-facing materials with your formula team. Test aging, appearance, odor, and dispensing in the filled assembly. A suitable roller component does not establish compatibility of the plastic reservoir with the same formulation.
Technical references
What should I check if the roll-on leaks around the housing?
Obtain the bottle bore, housing dimensions, and insertion instructions for the selected set. Inspect assembled samples before and after storage and handling, using the intended formula. Agree acceptance criteria for retention and leakage before changing cap tightness or component dimensions by trial and error.
Can the roll-on deliver a declared measured dose?
Only support that claim with an agreed application method and testing of the actual product. Assess passes, user pressure, temperature, and fill level on the chosen roller system. Direct application and smooth glide are separate from establishing repeatable delivery of a specified quantity.
