Which drawstring construction should we choose?
Describe whether the bag is for a protective pouch, gift pack or carried load. Specify body fabric, sewn channel, cord material and attachment points separately. Trial opening and cinching with the actual contents because the cord changes access as well as closure appearance.
Can the drawstring closure keep out dust or moisture?
A cinched opening can leave gaps, so define the required protection and inspect the closed bag directly. If sensitive contents need another barrier, include that inner pack in the approval. Do not assume the textile closure provides a sealed package.

How do we avoid cord or channel failures?
Use sewn production-equivalent samples and cycle the intended opening, closing and carrying motions with the planned contents. Inspect the channel stitching, cord exits and any attachment points. Record acceptable movement and wear rather than judging the bag only when the cord is pulled once.
What measurements are important for a drawstring bag?
Specify usable cavity dimensions below the channel, cord length, opening size and any base gusset. Include how far the opening must close around the contents. If washing is expected for cotton fabric, check dimensions and cord function after the agreed care trial.
