How do we verify recycled PET content?
Request the exact fabric composition, declared recycled percentage and traceable evidence for the proposed order. Clarify whether the statement covers the body only or also handles, thread and decoration. The rPET product name does not establish the recycled content of every component.
Technical references
Can an rPET bag have different fabric constructions?
Confirm whether the proposed PET textile is woven, nonwoven or another specified fabric, along with its weight and finish. Review the sewn sample for drape and carrying behavior. Resin identity alone does not describe the fabric structure or determine the finished bag performance.
How should we evaluate handle and base durability?
Trial the sewn bag with the intended load and reuse routine, inspecting stitches, handle roots and abrasion at bottom corners. Include bulky or angular contents where relevant. Keep the fabric and seam specification with the approval so a material substitution can be evaluated meaningfully.
Can the tote go into bottle recycling because it is PET?
Do not copy a beverage-bottle disposal instruction onto a sewn textile product. Confirm a suitable destination route for the fabric, thread, handles and decoration as supplied. A shared polymer name does not establish that collection systems accept the same product form.
